If I had to pick my favorite Transformer, I would easily pick Omega Prime. He's one awesome massive machine! Plus he's extremely Japanese, and colorful! I love the designs from RID, Especially Optimus Prime. He's just beautiful! Ultra Magnus is okay, he's a good truck mode and awesome power up, but an asstastic robot. Onto the ramblings!
Optimus is a fire truck in this iteration,and despite his blockiness and visible head in the middle, I love it. The ladder even comes with multiple missiles and despite being heavy, can easily be supported by it's tight joints. I love this design so much. The tires say fire convoy, which is interesting.
Looks like Optimus has been doing nothing but calf raises. Other than that, a cool design. The head does look a bit small, but why keep the mini robot when you have so many options?
Option one involves putting missile launchers on his shoulders! It balances out the bulkiness of the lower body, but I think we can do better.
A base too ? Well that is pretty cool, still it takes up too much space, and there's one more use for all those excess parts.

AWwwwww yeah a super robot using all the left over parts from his back end of the truck! He just looks so cool and imposing! There's no blue on him either, breaking the usual tradition of primes, the color scheme always reminded me of Blaster personally. In this form he can still even wrangle his cannon over his shoulder.

Wow, despite being over a decade old this toy is impressive, and really cool! I love him, this is easily my favorite Optimus Prime! I love it soooo much! Please make this guy a masterpiece some day- 9/10!
Well it's time to get to the other, less impressive half of Omega Prime, Ultra Magnus. Yep, don't expect much.
Ultra Magnus is a pretty cool semi with a car carrier trailer, specifically meant to be used with the Autobot brothers who he powers up. Pretty cool, and a nice throw back to the original Ultra Magnus. The weapons on the top make him more imposing than Prime in truck mode. But what about robot ? Yeah, let's get this over with.
He's just a mess here. His height is mostly legs, making up about 2/3rds of his overall height. The stumpy torso is a mess of gaps and and pieces the poorly for a torso. He has tiny upper arms,and freakishly huge forearms. I guess the head is okay, but his legs are so thing and his upper body such a mess of parts he has issues standing. I had to lean him forward for the behind shot, less he fall over. Ugh. I give ultra Magnus a 3/10 alone, but a 6/10 with Prime. He's basically a power up and a cool truck.The power up is so fucking sweet is almost makes up for Ultra Magnus.
Red, White, and Blue! A true American! He's such a bulky and wonderfully colored robot, he looks like he could easily take down Unicron. Toy wise anyway. They can mud wrestle for the fate of the universe! He can easily support the massive upper half with his bulky legs. Ultra Magnus essentially becomes armor for Prime to create this guy. On thing I always loved has that inside the gauntlets, Ultra Magnus and Optimus are holding hands. D'awwwwww. Omega Prime- 10/10!
