Neckbeard Museum 2: Douchelord's Bugaloo.

Well it's been freezing the past few days, with temperatures not even attempting to go above 10 degrees Fahrenheit. I hate Ohio so very much during winter. Check these out:

He barely moves these days. Too cold!
I've basically been hanging around the house building Gundam models and watching Nostalgia driven 90s shows. Gargoyles has aged remarkably well, third season aside. Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law is hilarious , aside from the last season.  Still, I miss working out, but I'm not risking frostbite just to get my lift on. I'll play DDR with my shitty dance pad, the one with a broken up arrow. My replacement one hasn't shipped, and neither has my Timecop poster. Sadness.  Anyway here's update pics of my neckbeard museum. If you compare to my original one here, you'll notice I cut down quite a bit.  http://starlock00.blogspot.com/2013/09/my-neckbeard-museum.html

New:

They smile upon me, filling me with hope for the day ahead.

My general view, guess the anime!
Sometimes they share space with me.
Finally, here's a video of my cat chasing his tail. He hasn't been outside in weeks, and he's starting to go stir crazy. Ignore the sound, I was watching something.

Anyway onto what I'll be reviewing Next:
Figuats Vegetto
Figuarts Gohan
Leader Class Ultra Magnus
Transformers Unite Warrios UW01Superion
Combiner Wars Menasor
Masterpiece Star Saber
Master Grade Gundam Double X

Expect them as I receive them, over the next few months.

Gundam MBF-P02KAI Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai MG! Rehashes, Rehashes Everywhere!

I've always preferred the classic Red Frame, before it evolved into the usual Seed clusterfuck of weapons and backpacks. Still, my 1/100 HG Red Frame was looking lame, and this guy is the basic design when you ignore the backpack/sword/bow thing. Still I Don't like to waste cool parts, so I assembled the whole thing.

27 Kit trees????? Holy Canoli, what a challenge! Actually most of them were sword parts, so it wasn't too bad. He did come with a flamboyant red stand, which he needs, because he can't stand without it. Here's the finished product!

Superior Nippon Steel, folded over 1000 times, forged in an active volcano.

You know it's a bad ass weapon when you need a stand.

This is a slick design, but why does he need two Katanas ? I suppose because he's Japanese as hell!  His backpack also turns into a sword, because why the fuck not ?  His backpack needs the stand to support him, and it can't even hold him up, it just acts as a back support. It looks strange, but it's about what I expect from Seed/ Destiny designs. He can stand on his own pretty well without the backpack though.
Come pierce yourself on my sword please.
Red Frame Kai can't even hold his sword, so don't expect dynamic poses from it. Especially with a bright red stand being what holds it up! The design is cool, but feels misguided. I'll give him a 7/10. He has some cool ideas, but they don't mesh together particularly well. A lot of this kit was reused from the MG Blue Frame 2nd L, where it looked better, but this guy is still better than that strange Sengoku Astray. Who approved that Football player with dual swords design ?

Master Grade Strike Freedom Full Burst! The greatest Gundam to ever exist!

As with Destiny, I already had a Master Grade Strike Freedom. And the 1/60th Lightning Edition, and at one point the 1/100 HG kit. I've loved this guy's design since I first saw it, and picked it up as soon as the HG kit came out. I hadn't even seen the show, but the design was baller. Thankfully by the time the MG came out, I had seen the show. Yes I loved it, but for all the wrong reasons. I love Sunrise's train-wreck shows so much!

Awwww snap, check out all that bling! This suit was made for the richest, most broken man in existence! Jesus Yamato! The suit supposedly has weak armor, but the pilot is Jesus, so he'd never take a hit anyway. Well This guy is 23 kit trees, though most of them are for the Wings/ DRAGOONs(Seed sure loved it's Acronyms). Time to assemble the God of the skies!
Looks almost Harmless, doesn't he ?

You're not living your life correctly!

Cagalli is crying ? I'm on my way!

Go to bed grandpa, you're outclassed.
When picking up this kit, make absolutely sure you get the Full Burst variation. The stand and effect parts for the DRAGOONs are amazing, and the kit would be lacking otherwise. Still cool, but not amazing! He's gorgeous, and the wings make him look so fucking slick! Weapons out the ass, Dragoons everywhere, and he's beautiful! Strike Freedom is ready to wreck anyone's shit in the name of Justice ( and Freedom!) The gold joints really make him pop, and the stand is capable of supporting all his bulk.

You need the Strike Freedom in your life! He's a 10/10 would pilot and love tenderly type of kit. I got him for $50 off hlj.com, but the shipping was expensive. I ordered him with Master Grade Red Frame Kai.

Master Grade Destiny Extreme Blast! Are you Saying if This was a Review, It Would be Over ?

As I mentioned in my Gundam X review, I ordered Destiny Gundam, Extreme Blast! For the second time! My first one I bought when it came out, but I lost the accessories over the years. Rewatching Destiny made me pick up a second. Yes, I am a horrible person.  But it's people like me who drive this economy damnit!

He only has 17 kit trees, but there were many tiny piece, trust me. It was brutal, and I was almost late to class because of my desire to finish him. I had a test to study for, but studying is for nerds and people who test poorly. aka, not me! Look at those beautiful wings of light though. Muh Dick!

Spider Gundam, Spider Gundam, does whatever a Spider Gundam does!

Two shields ? Why the fuck not ?

Batarangs, Go!

X is pretty fucked.
As you can see from the above photos, he's a pretty cool kit, albeit a clusterfuck. Half of his shit falls off every-time he moves slightly. His ass rifle gets in the way of his stand, his shield gets in the way of his weapons, and why does he have a metal shield and a laser shield ? No wonder this design was rejected for the Freedom, it's a mess and looks evil. It has red tears under the eyes, and no mouth. Now for the Hikari no Tsuabas (T/L not: means Wings of Light).

You have to admire his tenacity (Stupidity)

Shinn, pls go.
Destiny easily looks his best with the Wings of Light, and his ASS (Anti-Ship Sword) Any pose that is used in conjuncture with them looks amazing. Destiny is such a cool design, a shame it only came about when Shinn has to fight Jesus and the most broken Gundam in existence, the Strike Freedom. Still, a solid kit, cluster fucking aside. I got it for $48 Dollardoos prior to shipping from Plamoya.com. It was on sale, becuase no one likes the Destiny.  I give Master Grade Destiny Extreme Blast a 9/10, a point off for the cluster fucking.

You can never own too many red Nikes
