The Batman and Robin of anime! S.H. Figuarts Barnaby Brooks Jr. (Bunny) AND Wild Tiger!

I enjoyed the Tiger and Bunny anime enough, though that pacing and lame ending stopped me from really loving it. The designs of Tiger and Bunny's suit however really appealed to me. I swore on my Haruhi Hug pillow that I didn't own then to buy them if they were ever cheap. Last week they popped up on Amiami, with Wild Tiger for $16.50 and Bunny for $13.50. I doubt I'll ever find them cheaper, especially with my collecting winding down. I knew it was time!

The boxes are fun, and I love how in English the back of the boxes proudly proclaim product placement. The premise of the anime is superheroes gain corporate sponsors and appear on television, the better they are at being heores, the more sponsors and money they get. The show was funded completed with sponsor money itself, if the rumors are to be believed.

Everybody Walk the dinosaur!
Yeah, not really. The package has a stand! How thoughtful Ban Dai! They really must hate the fans of their DBZ and Digimon lines or something. My Kazuma and Lelouch Figuarts didn't come with stands either.  It's important to note that while unpacking Bunny here, my electrical outlet started smoking, and I though the smell was coming from the package. I imagined that some Fujioshi jammed the figure up in her vagina. Anyway nothing of value was lost. The figure comes with the giant GOD LUCK MODE leg and an extra set of hands. I didn't expect much else anyway.
Come over here and I'll kick your arses to the moon!

RIDER KIIIIIICK!

Posing this figure is a bit awkward due to the heaviness of the legs, they contain metal and can unhinge the stand. I think this suit looks best in somewhat neutral posing, though that is just me. I really dig the coloring on Bunny though, it reminds me of Iron Man. Now onto Tiger, since these two deserve the same score.

Tiger was easily my favorite character from the show, I especially loved his design, the green, black, and white went together fabulously. There was never any doubt in my mind that I would end up with him at some point. Tiger here comes with his GOOD LUCK MODE arm, TWO whole sets of hands, a fabulous stand, and two forearms blasters.

The same metal leg design as Bunny weighs him down a bit during posing, but I believe it looks cool enough that it won't knock off a point for it. Tiger is basically the same idea as Bunny, just with forearm blaster accessories. Now here' time for the obligatory forearm pic and fapping joke.
They said I'd go blind, I'LL SHOW THEM!!!
I give these figures an 9/10 for the prices I paid. Seriously, go check out your local Target and see what $15 buys you toy wise, it ain't shit! Though for those of you unfortunate enough to pay full price I give them a 7/10. Great solid figures that look good in any collection.
