More Figma fun! Sp 002 Bp Lelouch and Sp 003 Bp Suzaku! Code Geass!

I always regretted not picking up Figma Lelouch at Otakon back in 2008, and I finally caved and picked one up. I found him for the decent price of $50. No box, but whatever. I decided to pick up Suzaku as well, I found him on Plamoya for $70, but he was new. After the fact I found him on amiami, but whatever.

The box is pretty plain, which isn't bad, but you could tell they really didn't care much. I always wondered why didn't Ban Dai just make these themselves, but for whatever reason Figma did. It's time to pop this guy out of the box, and see what he's made of!
Well, he's a bit underwhelming. Nothing special, a few extra hands, two faces that look about the same, and Arthur the cat with meowing face. He's pretty mediocre to you none hardcore Geass fans, but us Lelouchians needs this, as we will never get another Suzaku figure. He's a perfect sculpt, just the lack of accessories are underwhelming.   Now it's time for the other side of the coin: Lelouch Vi Britannia!

I'm pretty certain the body is the same as Suzaku. That being said, this guy has superior accessories. He includes a Zero mask, which fits on both the cat, and Lelouch. The cat in included, but with a different head. Lelouch even comes with two special hands- one with his cell phone, and another with a gun. Awesome right ?
How does the figma stack up to the Zero Figuarts ? Not so hot, that's how! Lelouch has multiple fabulous hands, a fabulous cape, and is just a more fabulous figure overall! Especially since he can easily be obtained at retail price. Figma Lelouch just looks so plain in comparison.
A fabulous Mexican stand off!

Still, Code Geass fans will love both figures, despite their mediocrity. They are fun to pose and mess around with:

  I give Figma Suzaku a 6/10 and Figma Lelouch a 7/10.
