Jetwing Optimus Prime- Finally appearing at Toys R Us two years after the fact!

I'm going to attempt to copypaste old blogs with new pictures for the recolors of Shattered Glass City Commander KO, and Dio Brando SAS yellow version/ original.    There's been so many Optimus Prime figures from the Movie trilogy, and even more Optimus Primes overall. So which one is the best ? Most likely Buster Optimus Prime from the movie series, with his slick ass metalic paint, but he cots $300! Luckily the mold has been used in two other iterations; Battle Blades prime, and Jetwing Prime! Jetwing Prime was a Japanese exclusive, slightly reworked from Buster Prime to include an early concept of Optimus Prime's Jet pack from Dark of The Moon. 

About a year or so after that, Amazon.com got him in an exclusive deco, and for half the price. Last year around this time they were clearanceing him out on amazon, but my dumbass waited til two weeks ago to finally buy him at $100. Even more fun is that on Black Friday, Toysrus will have him in store for $50. So get at him then! But is he worth it ?

  The box uses shots from the Japanese version of the figure, not out flamboyantly colored Murican version. Still the text is in English, so who can complain ? That jetpack looks awesome, and Optimus looks amazingly movie accurate. I couldn't wait to open him up.

 Hory Sheet! He's more amazing than I thought! Those wings, that gun, the impressive build of Optimus Prime,  It's amazing! Why aren't all Optimus figures this awesome ? Sorry Robots in disguise Optimus Prime, I have a new favorite Transformer! So how does Optimus look without his power up ?

  That's how a leader of the Autobots should look! He's so beautiful! This mold is too good for us! This guy looks like he could take down a whole platoon of Decpticons, using only a single volume of Kimagure Orange Road as a weapon!

  What a great truck mode! It was a pain in the ass to get him here, the transformation is vicious. Though I suppose that's what you have to deal with for beauty in both forms. I'm told he looks great with Ultimate Optimuses trailer, but I hate transforming that thing.

  It's a shame we didn't see something like this in a movie. Who would challenge a truck like this ? I bet he can fly while firing, being the first movie Autobot to gain air superiority. Truly the best movie Optimus, I doubt Age of Extinction Prime will top this, even with his awesome sword and shield. Might as well line up early at Toys R Us. This guy is a must have for any Transformers fan! Jetwing Optimus Prime- 10/10! Would bang!
