Where we're going, we don't need roads! Entertainment Earth Exlcusive Back to the Future II Delorean and Retro Action Marty and Doc.

I don't know how I lived my life without a model, scale figure, something, of the famous Delorean from Back the the Future. I re-watched the trilogy, and went online quickly to correct this burning hole in my soul. Entertainment earth had a pre-order for an exclusive BTTF II Delorean, complete with flight mode. I knew it was destiny, and picked up a Marty McFly Figure and Doc Brown to compliment it. They came last week, but they are nothing without this beautiful bastard. Onto the ramblings!

I'm starting with the Reaction retro action figures so we can get to the really fun stuff. The figures are tiny, only 3 and 3/4th of an inch. They're done in old school style, which means they are cheap and poorly detailed, with little articulation.

As you can see, the figures are underwhelming. Marty looks like he could be anyone really, from Han Solo to Arnold Schwarzenegger, at least in the face. I do find it hilarious that Marty's vest has ass articulation though. Doc Brown looks a bit more like the character, but with the same low level of detail and paint applications. Marty comes with a Skateboard, while Doc comes with the Delorean remote control. These figures are mediocre, so I give them a mediocre score- 5/10. No onto the schway part.

She's beautiful! Those lights, that detail, and even the size! I loved it before I removed it from the package. The car is huge, which makes it hilarious out of scale with the tiny figures. Damn scales. Let's tear it open, and see how sexy it really is.

The sculpt here is glorious, as are the paint apps., It perfectly recreates the look of the Delorean as seen in Back to The Future II, which was your favorite one and mine. The gullwing doors open high, and it even comes with Mr.Fusion to put on the back. Inside the hood is where the batteries go, so no real detail inside. It also contains the switch for the electronics.
On the bottom is the switch to flip the wheels into hover mode. The bottom of the vehicle has decent detail too. Now here's the picture dump to show off it's beauty.

The cast was indeed played my midgets.

The lights and sounds are very cool, mostly being powered up sounds, and flashing blue lights around the frame. That is til you find the switch in the hood, and flip it up, then the head lights and the Flux capacitor light up as well.

Yes, that is a tiny light up Flux Capacitor.
If you love this car, or this movie, pick this up ASAP! IT's stunning, from the details, to the sculpt, to the lights and sounds. I love this car so much, it will reflect in the lowered scores on my next two blogs, BTTF II Delorean- 10/10!
