When I first heard the name of Trowa's Gundam, I thought it was hilarious. Heavy Arms ? That was the perfect name for a Gundam armed to the teeth with weapons. I was always disappointed that the only kit of him was the lame ass 1/144 with crap balanced and bland sculpting. Then I found out about the MG! I was out of Gundam/Anime/ Whatever at the time, and I just recently was pushed towards buying MG Wing Kits with the release of MG Proto Zero. I picked up Epyon because he was cheap and on the same site as MG Zero, and HeavyArms had been on back-order for month at HLJ before he finally came. They also had MG Deathscythe one sale for Black Friday, so now all I need now is Alrton to get an MG release. What a bad ass suit that is!
Standard size for an MG of course. I expected this kit to be about Sandrock level of difficulty, and I was right! He looks so much cooler than that kit though.
Twelve kit trees ? That's nothing! I eat that for breakfast! Side note, Kit trees are delicious and have about as much nutrition as something from Taco Bell. At the rate I'm buying shit, I better learn to live off them and cardboard, or I will starve to death. They can't be that different from Ramen Noodles right ? Time to boil some kit trees!
What a sex beast! I love the look of Heavyarms version Katoki, it has more of a gritty look, like he was assembled in a hurry for Guerrilla combat (he was technically). It has all the hidden missles and Gatlings of The Heavyarms custom, but with the original pain scheme. Plus the bad ass gattling looks like something out of Teams Fortress 2.
The ammo can and beam gattling can be mounted on his shoulders, but holding it is awkard. I have no idea why it can't clip onto his forearm, and instead relies on the fingers to hold it (it does not hold together well) and I had to use my usual sticky tack on it. The gun also makes him unbalanced, and the ammo belt pops out constantly. It's a minor annoyance, but still. Included is a beam weapon, but it has no beam, and to store it you have to take apart the arm. Whatever, he does not affect my final score! MG Heavy Arms- 8/10! It got him for $27 on HLJ's Black Friday's sale! It's not much more now, at $31, though shipping as $12 on it. Add it on to your giant order!

Persona 3 Figuarts Zero Main character/ Minato Arisato/ Yuki Makoto/ Your mother.
After sitting in Japanland or customs for roughly a month, he finally arrived! Bringing with him MG Heavyarms who I had actually forgotten about! Whoops! Anyway the box he came in was rougly ten times his size, so when I took out old MC, I was suprised!
Jesus Christ how TINY! It's a bit smaller than your standard Figuarts box (I've never owned a Figuarts Zero though). I expected bigger for the $130 I paid for this niggah! Damn you Japanese web exclusives! I wonder what size the Kotobukiya figures are.
I picked this guy over the Kotobukiya one due to the sculpt looking a bit better, and the Kotobukiya one being even more exorbitantly priced. This one was easier to find in any case.
The sculpt on MC/ Yuki is gorgeous, he is faithfully recreated here. Included are two arms, one with the evoker, and the other with a Persona card. He has two belt holsters too, one with his evoker in, and the other empty. This is a beautiful figure, but the price is ass rape, only true weaboo Persona fans such as myself would consider buying him. The box tempts you to buy D-Arts Thanatos, but fuck that. I have better options!
His Persona is Cyberdramon! There's enough space on the base to to mount another figure behind him, and sadly Cyberdramon isn't equipped for this. Maybe I'll mount a Haruhi or something as his Persona.
The only Persona I could see myself buying is Mara, our of pure hilarity.
Yes, it's real! Now what do I give this overpriced Manlet in terms of a score ? 7/10! There's a prize figure that came out recently of this guy due to the movie's release, but the sculpt isn't as nice, and it's still pricey. The cheapest I've seen for the Kotobukiya one is $170 on Mandrakes site, and they hate me for some reason. Being Male, old MC here will never get a Figma or anything. Sadface.jpg.
Amiami's used section has literally had every figure I was vaguely interested in, so I jumped on them, and bought them! Here's what's upcoming on this site thing:
Figma Rider
Figma Homura Akemi
Figma Signum Knight
Play Arts Lightning (FF13 version)
Figuarts Sailor Mars
Figuarts Wild Tiger ($15!!!!!)
Figuarts Barnaby Brooks ($12!!!!!!!!)
I could not resist such deals! Oh Jesus!

Figma 091 Rei Ayanami! Everyone's favorite stoic girl, unless you're a queer.
I've been on the hunt for a decent priced Rei Figma since I picked up Asuka and Mari a few months back, and last week I found her for $40. The shipping and handling charge by Jungle is borderline rape, but I went ahead and bought her anyway, because I consider it a personal victory. It probably would have been cheaper to just buy her off ebay for $60, but something just can't be helped.
What a box! I say no sarcastically. I love the bigger Figma boxes, they always pack more fun inside. The fun in this is the pilot's seat, which is same as Asuka's and Mari's but its a slightly different shade of gray. Time to get cracking on unpacking.
The figure is essentially the same as Asuka and Mari, but with Shinji's cassete player, rather than a doll, or different hair. Kind of lame in comparison, but I feel Rei has the coolest looking plugsuit. The whit with black accents is extremely beautiful, too bad Rei is the worst girl. Japan loves her, since they have a thing for submissive girls.
The peg on the second Figma stand broke while I attempted to assemble the whole thing, but the single stand is strong enough to hold everything up at an angle. Rei looks as good as her fellow pilots in the seat, though there is only one question that must be asked, Kaworu Figma when ? I'd like a Cardcaptor Sakura one too, fuck Nendoroids. Speaking of Cardcaptors, I found out all 70 episodes were dubbed, I thought only the hacked up version received a dub. I know what I'm doing tomorrow.
In any case, this figure needs a score. She's the weakest out of the three Evangelion Figmas in my opinion, but that is just personal preference. I give her a 7/10, a point lower than the other two girls. Now here's an awful shot of all three figure and Vash the Stampede.

Haruhi time! Figma 032 Haruhi Suzumiya Cheerleader version and Super SOS Dan Group Heroine Collection from the WII game!
I found Figma Rei for a decent price last week, but shipping on Jungle is near rape. So to make it seem like a deal, I had to throw two more things in the order and convince myself it was a deal. In retrospect this was a poor choice, but that's basically what this blog was founded on, poor choices and indulgence. AMERICA!!!
The figures cam in this sweet ass Wii box, which was of course lacking the game. It's a shame I can't read moon, otherwise I could play all those sweet Haruhi games like this one! Apparently this game is called "The Upheaval of Haruhi Suzumi" and deals with gang on a cruise. The whole set was $15, but the size of the box puts it into ass rape levels of cost. Let's check em out.
Apparently these were made by Sega, who were the makers of the game. The figures stand about 5 inches tall, so a bit shorter than a Figma. The details are great though, I was supsired. Haruhi cosplays as a pirate, Mikuru as a Gothic maid, and Yuki and some Evangelion plug suit rip off . . . thing. Whatever, they all look cool!
The thing that impressed me was these figures have swappable parts! Haruhi has a separate head with an eye patch, Mikurur an arm that can hold her broom, and Yuki a separate torso with a laser pistol. Yuki's default torso had a few paint scrapes on it, so the extra torso was welcom. I'll give the set 8/10, cheap, fun imaginative, what more could one want ? Aside from these being shipped without their huge ass box.
I felt my Haruhi and Figma collections were severely lacking, so I needed to pick this up. I kid, I threw it in cause it was under $20 and in impulse range! Shiggity! It was either this or something even stupider. I could have done worse.
The accessories are nice, but the outfit is nicer! One interesting fact is that she has blue panties, instead of the standard white. She comes with pom poms, a second head complete with a helmet and helmet hair, a bat and glove, and a baseball she can barely hold. Now let's have some fun!
The pom poms affix directly to the wrist, which is pretty cool. I didn't think she could hold them well anyway. They're made of squishy rubber, which feels nice in your fingers.
Since Mobip Rin comes with pitching gear, I decided she was perfect to pair with Haruhi's batter gear. I think Haruhi would win the game though, she is God. This is a fun figure, the accessories are varied and the outfit is almost lewd! Not really, well maybe to someone from the 50s. Damn Baby Boomers. I give Figma Haruhi Cheerleader version a 7/10! Now here's my overcrowded Haruhi shelf!

This Blog is lacking in Revoltechs, time to fix that! Evangelion 08+02 Revoltech EX! Evangelion store 2 year anniversary guy!
As I was fighting to get my car out of my lawn, I saw the USPS guy go down the road to deliver a package before parking in his usual spot to deliver mail. He waited til after I left to deliver my package. Awesome. Thanks USPS and thanks for making me sign for everything fro another country. RAGE!!! Anyway I paid out the ass for this figure ($70) But it's limited edition and all that, and I have a huge boner for Revoltech Evangelions, so I NEEDED it!
The box is nothing special, same as every other Revoltech. The back is not much different either. I wanted a fancier box for my fancier figure Japan! Let's crack her open!
As seen in the Trailer for Evangelion 4.0 (Which will most likely make everyone hate the series even more) Unit 08+02 was seen in a few clip running around fighting Mass produced Mark 06s. You knew a revotlech was coming since then, especially since all Kaiyodo had to do was take two existing figures, cut them in half, and assemble the remnants down the middle. This figure reminds me of that half Calico half clack called called Chimera that's been making rounds on the internet forever. Accessory wise it's better than Unit 13, but worse than the rest. The sword is cool, and so's the AT field, but they threw in way too many plastic rods. One of which I cannot figure out what the fuck it's for. Thhe AT field is cool, but there's some sort of bit. Fin Funnel thing that was used by Unit 13 during the Final battle under Nerv in 3.0 It shows unit 13 using it like that on the back, and wa originally packaged with Unit 08 Beta, which no one bought because 08 Alpha came with that fuck win shield. On noteworthy thing is there is a single dot above the thumb on the hands, and half (right)have a pink dot, and the other half (left) have a red dot for their respective sides.
The AT field is cool, but it it a reuse from another Revoltech, which is the same as this whole figure, aside from the sword. Why can't Revoltech do sweet ass special edition figures like Figma does? WTF!
08+02 can hold the sword with both hands, which is cool I guess ? The hips on this guy are a mess, they don't bend right nor do they move like you want them too. The leg armor gets in the way of articulation. It's possible the joints on mine are stiff, but I think Kaiyodo just phones this in. It's an extremely half assed figure, and insulting at $70. It retails in Japan for $42, and i think that's a bit much for this turd. I give it a 5/10, and that's being generous. Wow me with Evangelions from 4.0 Revoltech! Wow me or lose my business! Figma's announced some slick ass shit for the upcoming year, as had Figuarts. Do not disappoint me! As soon as I left to pick up this guy at the post office, I missed the delivery of my next package which contains Figma Rei, Haruhi Cheerleader version, and some Haruhi cosplay figures that came with her Wii game (they were cheap). Expect them to be up her tomorrow, so I can meet my weekly quota of 4 blogs.
