Another Transformers KO! Bootleg Smokescreen, coming to an eBay near you!

Last week it was my birfday, and this was the best gag gift I've ever gotten. Her (his?) name is CIA. I'd totally show the birth certificate, but it has name birthday and real name on it, which is something that I won't put on this blog.

I love Transformers. I saw Age of Extinction 10 times in theaters, roughly a third of my collection is these Transforming bastards, and I've read the entire run of Marvel comic's Transformer's series. That said, there is nothing better to me than Transformers bootlegs. From the greatness that is DOTM oversize Megatron, to City Commanders bootleg recast. They make toys that would be expensive or non existent real. So today's toy is Masterpiece Smokescreen. I've always liked his color scheme, but the Universe figure is pricey, as is the official Masterpiece. I saw this beauty on ebay for $35 including shipping, and now he's in my collection.

The box is a nice replica, hell it might even be from the same factory as the elgit one, they just decided to do some off the books work. Who knows, who cares. It had a nice Nissan logo on it, and some nice moon runes.

In car mode is a noticable hiccup, the window doesn't line up correctly on the right side, and the hood doesn't connect perfectly. I don't care much as Hasbro's official toys tend to have issues like this anyway. Plus who wants to keep a Transformer in vehicle mode? That's a waste. The paint job is nice and clean, and the text ir replicated perfectly. Now let's bang him into robot mode!

Not too shabby! The pain on the face has a nice glop, but it's not terrible. His face is rather bland, but that's Takara's sculpting issues, not the copiers. The chest doesn't exactly lock, but I have no official character to compare it to, so I'll let it slide. The feet are a bit weird and unstable, but that's a design flaw, and they still manage to keep him upright, so it's not a big issue. He holds his guns nicely, and looks cool, so I'd say he's pretty solid overall. So let's give him a nice 7/10. Easily worth the money I paid for. Obligatory Scale pic with Masterpiece Rodimus.

S.H. Figuarts Sailor Jupiter! For those of you with an Amazon fetish.

I have finally complete my five inner sailor soldiers! Hooray! Now if only I could get paid for this, life would be great. I do it for free though, and expect no compensation. Anyway Jupiter is mid range in terms of how much I care about her character. She's not as hot as Venus or Mars, nor as cool as Uranus or Neptune. I like her more than Saturn, Mercury, Moon and Chibi Moon though! So let's see how she flies so good.

The box is the same as the other scouts, design wise anyways. It shows Jupiter off in some cool poses, and uses green on the back, as that it Jupiter's associated color. Design wise she looks just like she did in the classic series, not that god awful reboot animated by Toei Philippines. Don't even get me started on that turd. Only my nostalgia faggotry keeps me watching it. That and to laugh at it.

You know you were curious.
As was the same with the other scouts, Jupiter comes with a bunch of hands you'll never use, a few fun faces, and an alternate hair piece with antenna. She has white panties too, to show that she is pure. Anyway she's great sculpt and paint wise. The colors are vibrant, and the faces are anime like. In short, she is a bit plain. most Figuarts feel a bit lacking to me, probably because Ban Dai always jews out in terms of accessories, and often stands. Jupiter does come with one though, complete with her Jupiter logo on it. Sturdy enough, but nothing amazing.
Why can't I hold all these tits?

In the show, Jupiter always came off as a bit of a lesbian, so her breast groping hands shouldn't surprise anyone. For maximum hilarity, pair them with her happy face. Check out her with Sakura up there, she can create comedy for days. She is a fun figure to have around. Still, there's nothing above amazing here. I give her another nostalgia faggotry based 6/10.Yes, she is taller than the other scouts, see below.

Figuarts Imperialdramon- The figure no one ever asked for.

I've always loved Imperialdramon's design, and in my Digimon collecting Prime I have 4 versions of him- the D-Arts, The American Digivolving, the Japnanses Digivolving one, and the Paladin mode Japanese Digivolving one. I sold them all when my Digimon fandom waned a few years back and never regretted it. When I saw the Promo images of Imperialdramon's latest incarnation, I caved and preordered it through a proxy ASAP. Finally he arrived today, and it's time to pick him apart.

Thanks to the huge box, expect shipping to be pretty high. Thanks Ban Dai! He looks okay in the package, while the animated one looks cooler than you figure could ever hope to be. Let's open him up.

Well, that is a bit underwhelming. Imperialdramon comes with Wings, two cannons, and four extra hands. Well worth $70 right? Yeah that's sarcasm. The wings are cool, but they feel flimsy, and hurt your fingers as you jam them in. The cannon was sort of a bitch to attach to the arm as well. The paint job is fine, bland, but true to character. He can stand on his won though, which is a nice thing.
When it's lazer time, but on the 3d shades.

Feed me Pop Tarts!
Imperialdramon looks a bit cooler in dramatic poses, but his should construction is odd. There shoulder pads are attached by a loop that likes to pop out, and the arms under them are jointed rather oddly. They felt pretty cheap too.He does look okay poses with his cannons, both of which can be chest mounted, one with hands, and the other with out.  There's really not much here unless you love this character, or think it will be woth money someday. It is getting an American release, which is a bit cheaper, but still not worth it. I give him a nostalgia based 6/10.
BIG AMERICAN DANCE PARTY!

Where we're going, we don't need roads! Entertainment Earth Exlcusive Back to the Future II Delorean and Retro Action Marty and Doc.

I don't know how I lived my life without a model, scale figure, something, of the famous Delorean from Back the the Future. I re-watched the trilogy, and went online quickly to correct this burning hole in my soul. Entertainment earth had a pre-order for an exclusive BTTF II Delorean, complete with flight mode. I knew it was destiny, and picked up a Marty McFly Figure and Doc Brown to compliment it. They came last week, but they are nothing without this beautiful bastard. Onto the ramblings!

I'm starting with the Reaction retro action figures so we can get to the really fun stuff. The figures are tiny, only 3 and 3/4th of an inch. They're done in old school style, which means they are cheap and poorly detailed, with little articulation.

As you can see, the figures are underwhelming. Marty looks like he could be anyone really, from Han Solo to Arnold Schwarzenegger, at least in the face. I do find it hilarious that Marty's vest has ass articulation though. Doc Brown looks a bit more like the character, but with the same low level of detail and paint applications. Marty comes with a Skateboard, while Doc comes with the Delorean remote control. These figures are mediocre, so I give them a mediocre score- 5/10. No onto the schway part.

She's beautiful! Those lights, that detail, and even the size! I loved it before I removed it from the package. The car is huge, which makes it hilarious out of scale with the tiny figures. Damn scales. Let's tear it open, and see how sexy it really is.

The sculpt here is glorious, as are the paint apps., It perfectly recreates the look of the Delorean as seen in Back to The Future II, which was your favorite one and mine. The gullwing doors open high, and it even comes with Mr.Fusion to put on the back. Inside the hood is where the batteries go, so no real detail inside. It also contains the switch for the electronics.
On the bottom is the switch to flip the wheels into hover mode. The bottom of the vehicle has decent detail too. Now here's the picture dump to show off it's beauty.

The cast was indeed played my midgets.

The lights and sounds are very cool, mostly being powered up sounds, and flashing blue lights around the frame. That is til you find the switch in the hood, and flip it up, then the head lights and the Flux capacitor light up as well.

Yes, that is a tiny light up Flux Capacitor.
If you love this car, or this movie, pick this up ASAP! IT's stunning, from the details, to the sculpt, to the lights and sounds. I love this car so much, it will reflect in the lowered scores on my next two blogs, BTTF II Delorean- 10/10!
