I actually enjoyed G-Saviour. It felt like more of a bad Sci-Fi original movie than a Gundam series, but it was enjoyable. I saw the kit on Amiami for $11, and felt that was the exact price I was willing to pay. I believe it received a new pressing due to it's appearance in Build Fighters, since checkign ebay it goes for twice what I paid. Guess I should have bought more!
Three kit trees, one of which is huge pieces ? I was definitely savoring this after the nightmare that was Jehuty and Valvrave. It only took me 30 minutes to assemble this left wannabe Gundam F91 design.
I love the basic design, and have a love of backpacks and giant hip wings (Thanks Gundam Seed) So there was no way to hate this kit. It's a simple late 90s gundam kit, thought I wish it had more color to it. It comes with a laser shield, blue beam sword, and gun. A standard from the time period really. I'll give him a 7/10, just due to liking him and his ease to be assembled.

Anubis: Zone of the Enders - Jehuty Plastic Kit, modeling is truly pain.
Well I felt the need to have A representation of Jehuty from Zone of the Enders, and I preferred the darker looks from Anubis/Second runner. I was torn between the Revoltech and this kit, but the kit was cheaper, and I love building models. I thought it would be fun, and the end result would be fabulous. I was wrong on all fronts.
This kit contains 13 kit trees, and a stand. The tiny gold pieces reminded me of an early master grade kit, so I knew I was in for a challenge. What I received was suffering. This kit is not be be enjoyed, but endured, and quickly forgotten. The main issue I had was the super complex tiny pieces slapped together with vague illustrations, and if you fucked up and had to redo a piece, it broke while you disassembled it. Most of the pieces are super complex assembled pieces of plastic that tightly fit around thin rods, and break easy. My kit is held together in no less than three areas with sticky tack. I assembled them parts wrong, or I looked at them from an odd angle, and BAM! Breakage. This fucker took me two and half hours of pain.
The other main issue is when you attempt to assemble everything, pieces fly off like its nothing. The head, crotch, both arms, and legs would not stay together at the same moment in time. No matter how tight I thought they were in there, when I attempted to attach the next piece the rest shot off. Ugh this fucking kit. It does look really cool, but I'm afraid to touch it, or even look at it. This guy is a nightmare, just shell out for the Revoltech and save yourself a headache. I'll give it a 4/10. Seriously it looks fucking sweet, but damn its a headache and half to assemble,

My first Kotobukiya kit- Metabee from Medabots/ Medarot
I saw Metabee up for restock on amimai, and figured yes, the kit was worth $25. I would have gotten Rokusho too, but they weren't getting a shipment in on him apparently, so my Metabee is forever alone. This is the first non Ban Dai kit I've built, and I wasn't exactly thrilled with the contruction process, though the final product however . . .
A pretty simple kit, loaded with polycaps! Most of which are round balls! So I suppose you could remark this kit is ball jointed. I banged it out in an hour or so.
That's a solid looking Metabee! The construction was annoying, the kit's joints are essentially jam a ball on it and jam the ball onto a round hole. It was a pain in the ass, and they're super tight in there. Great for posing, a pain for assembling.
Metabee even comes with removable medal, though it's molded in the same plastic as the back. Pretty cool. I suck at painting, though I'm sure plenty of people will paint it and the stand base gold. I learned my lesson on painting Escaflowne kits back in 2001. Never again!
He comes with a stand to hold card board cutouts and Japanese phrases. Yeah, whatever. I can't read moon, so the cardboard target was my choice. The right arm can fire a single clear missile, and it can get some decent distance using it's spring. Luckily they gave you three, so you can afford to lose one or two.
Metabee comes with removable eye plates, including off, serious, regular, and angry. I love how expressive he is with just his eyes. Note the clear missile by his feet. I lost the first one. Now my favorite part is the head rockets and their effect trails.
Awwww yeah, if only he came with Medaforce effect parts, this guy would be perfect. Still as it stands, this is the best Metabee that is affordable. Who wants to shell out $150 for the D-Arts ? No one that's who. Plus the Hasbro/Takara one from close to 15 years ago is horribly out date. Still that line offers us the only Arc Beetle and Sumiladon we will ever get.
I give this kit a solid 8/10. It really is the perfect representation of Metabee. It's time to kiss your bot goodbye!

Valvrave the Liberator Hi-to 1/144 The King of Stickers.
I felt it had been long since I watched anime, and I heard Valvrave was a Gundam Seed and Code Geass rip off. Perfect! Since it was Sunrise, I knew there would be model kits. After much debate, I chose the black version of the first Valvrave unit (the white one looked like Nirvash from Eureka 7 to me). The final piece of my order G-Saviour came in, and BAM! A week later its showed up at my door.
The design looks cool enough, and it was 8 runners ( I don't count polycaps, stands, of effect parts). A frustrating two hours later, this mess was complete.
It doesn't look bad, but the stickers are a nightmare. Almost every outer armor piece is lined with them, and it took almost as long as completing this kit to apply them. I pity anyone who paints this kit, you'll need patience and luck. Probably a heaping helping of insanity too. Another issue I had is the legs are a cluster fuck. I have to idea why the designer felt that the wing should be on its legs, but they get in the way of the upper body. Even worse is you have to jam two scabbards onto the thigh, mixed with the mess of wings and torso. I expect better Ban Dai!
Th effect parts are clear for whatever reason, I don't understand why they didn't just mold them in pink like on the box. Exen weirder is the foot laser lighting bolt. It doesn't fit anywhere but on his heels. Yeah, whatever. He comes with a punching air slice effect too, but that at least makes sense.
All of it's weapons and a few effect parts can be combined into a cluster fuck superweapon that he can barely heft. Valvy is hunched whn trying to hold it, and would most likely fall if no for the stand. The weapon looks super plain too, as it's clear swords and effect parts are slapped onto a black gun. Yeah.
Included are two katana, and a shield. The swords are clear for some reason, as is half the shield. You getting lazy Ban Dai!
Still they did the best they could I suppose, it's a good design, just poorly executed. If the wings were on the back and the weapons weren't clear, I'd like this guy much more. When all is said and done, I give this mother a 6/10. Maybe the other Valvraves are better, but they don't exactly appeal to me.

Revoltech 090 Evangelion Unit 02 The Beast, or the sexiest as some may say!
I've been playing through the Heaven's Feel route of Fate/Stay Night, and I'm on day 9. Then I'll finally do my long played Fate/Stay night, Zero whatever asstravaganza. I'm also working my way through the Haruhi anime, including it's Haruhi-Chan and Nyoro-n Churuya-san spin offs. The novels of course, will be included. So probably sometime next week I'll slap some word together on them and call it a blog.
Iv'e been buying a fuckton of Revoltech Evas lately, so the Beasto is clearly the next logical step. I'd love a recent blue Unit 00(the yellow never appealed to me), so this will be in for quite sometime. In any case it's time to check it- Revoltech 090 Unit 02 the Beasto! GOOOOOOOOOO!!
I know, I was sold on buying this from all the effect parts alone! Holy fuck are the cool! Unlike most revoltechs, Za Beasto doesn't come with extra hands. He doesn't need them, the Beast just tears apart all enemies with it's hands! Hilariously though, my Beasto is a first release, which means it comes with a gun that it can't even hold. What. You can see it by the stand above. Now lets bust this mother out of its cage!
The beast is really fucking cool with it's elongated limbs, and lanky look. It looks like some crazy humanoid beast that will rape you and eat your corpse. Evangelion in a nutshell! Perfect! It even comes with a a foot effect part that makes it appear that Beasto is charging towards you to sodomize you. Fuck yeah!
The more effect parts the better! Awesome! There's the limb splatter effect, which is the best, and can be used on most figures with removable joints
This figure is almost worth it for the arm splatter alone. It's beyond fun to put on unrelated Figmas or Revoltechs. Maybe Figuarts too, I haven't checked. Now back to the other effect parts!
There's the slobber effect, and a blood gushing piece that fist on the head, but the later broke, and I didn't feel like doing my usual sticky tack fix. The pin was super tiny, and did not want to be forced in. Whatever, it's not a deal breaker. Included are dual swiping effects too.
I know some people hate on the Revoltech line, but it is perfectly suited for Evangelion units. Unlike most of their figures, they don't have the tiny head and stumpy body look. The Units from the movie related releases are the pinnacle of this line, at least in my opinion. Unit 02 The Beast 9/10! I love this fucker!

Figma 151 Kiritsugu Emiya- No more dreams, only tears!
Thanks to HLJ's Black Friday sale, I have even more crap I don't need. But they were at prices I can't resist! So on the way whenever they get their backstock is:
MG Deathscythe Hell
MG Tallgeese
MG Heavy Arms
MG Unicorn
1/144 Nirvash type 0 and Spec 2
I picked up a bunch of Pokemon figures on the cheap, but I don't review unmovable things, you can only fap over how pretty it is for so long. I'll slap a group shot of them somewhere. I picked up the missing members of my SOS Brigade- Yuki (Witch version), Koizumi, Mikuru, and the special game edition Haurhi Figma (It was $10! I couldn't resist!) I will never be a normal member of society. I'm fine with that.
I finally got around to watching the second half of Fate/Zero. I loved the novels, but the first half of the anime series left me unimpressed. The second half however, it was some top tier shit. So I picked up Emiya Kiritsugu for $30 and added it to my mountain from Amiami.
Yep, just looking at the box this is going to be an accurate representation of the insane assassin bad ass magus we all know and not really love. Well Shiro did, and I guess Illya.
The hair looks a bit off, I feel it should be more poofy, but other than that, it's prefect. The trench coat and his black clothes are nicely done, not too dark, nor too bright.
Hoooo damn son, look at all those guns! He even comes with multiple cigarettes he can smoke and hold! Everyone says that figma is a girly line, but Duke Togo and Kiritsugu show it what's up. He comes with seperate forearms and nubs so you can shove his hands into his trench coat pockets ( well holes in the plastic anyway).
The guns are well detailed, and even come with firing effects! Now you can stage your favorite hold up scene from a gangster movie, or Pulp Fiction. To each his own!
Included is a special bullet loading hand, they really did think of everything to make this guy manly and an assassin. Why aren't there more cool anime leads like him ?
I really love all his guns, and I'm not even a gun guy (though I do sell them). They just seem to suit him so well, and I love that. His bangs kept falling off, so I took these embarrassing pictures of his male pattern baldness. Don't show Shirou or Taiga! TeeHee!
I keep him posed as above like he's ready for anything, and smoking just to keep himself occupied. All in all, this is one of my favorite Figmas, I guess the line just keeps improving. I have high expectations for Archer and Guyver 1. Figma Emiya Kritsugu-9/10
Everything in the haul picture will be reviewed (save Tomoyo). I have the pictures, it's just a matter of making the time. Mostly likely tomorrow, as I have jack shit all to do. I love my life.
